  What is Active transport? Explain how the NA+ + k+ pump operates. What is the distribution of fluid in the body? What is the extracellular fluid, intracellular? Interstitial and transcellular fluid? What is endocytosis? Differentiate between pinocytosis and phagocytosis. 7   8
  What do you mean by of transfusion reaction and erythroblastosis fetalis? What factors stimulate an increase in the rate of blood cell formation? Define anaemia and classify it. Define and distinguish between  osmosis pressure, hydrostatic pressure, kinetic prerssure? What is Endocytosis? Differentiate between pinocytosis and phagocytosis. 7       8

  What is portal hypertension ? explain the absorption of fat, protein and carbohydrate and how they circulate from the intestinal enterocytes to the body. Define synapse with well labelled diagram. Draw a well labelled diagram of myelinated neuron. 8     7
